Alice to Darwin - What a ride !

Thank you and congratulations to the courageous cyclists who just rode 1516km from Alice to Darwin. Over 12 days the cyclists and crew took in the sights of Katherine Gorge, Devils Marbles, Mataranka Springs and Darwin. The cyclists were able to see, smell, hear, taste and touch the Australian outback, as they made the journey north. The legs might have been sore but the smiles were evidence enough to show that everyone felt proud of their achievement.

Here's a line from a thank you note we just received - "I just have to say - what wonderful accommodation you provided and I really don't think you could improve in any area of your tours whatsoever, and I know just how hard you both work at it."

We look forward to sharing more stories with you over the coming weeks. Have a look at some of the happy snaps below. More images from the ride can be seen at http://www.flickr.com/photos/alltrails/

Thank you James for giving us so much great reading. It's fabulous to see the journey from the cyclists point of view. www.jamescheetham.net/Intro.php?Ride=TerritoryTour

AllTrails Bicycle Tours are proud of the reputation they have built over the last 12 years, providing cyclists with care and personal attention that is way above what is normally expected.

Phil and Susan's Australian Cycle Tours have grown from one day bike rides, to tours that take you from city to city around the country.

AllTrails has a bicycle tour to suit you

Some riders revel in the challenge to ride the entire distance between towns, others cycle part of the way, then enjoy the comfort of our support vehicle to the next drink stop or perhaps 'til the days end.

The detail that is applied in doing the reconnaissance, then booking the accommodation and choosing the gourmet style food is extraordinary, with facilities and access to towns a priority. Everything is taken care of, all you have to do is ride your bike, supported by qualified staff.

AllTrails are specialists in long distance cycling tours. Whether it's the world famous Great Ocean Road, the Nullarbor or the Cairns to Cape York off road challenge - from lush green hills to the baking desert - there's a ride to suit your ability, taste and style.

Accommodation is chosen for its superior quality and location and the gourmet food is guaranteed to satisfy your cyclist's appetite.

The personalised service and attention to detail make AllTrails tours exceptional value. As a recent cyclist summed it up:

"what a marvellous experience you made possible for us. Everything just went so smoothly, with the catering being one of the highlights."
