Adelaide to Melbourne 2003

It will all fall into place somehow, was the general feeling during our 7 day tour. And it did. The NSW group of 14 from Tamworth area did the lot. Climbed the Lofty Ranges, got lost and found in an historic 1840 hotel, were blown backward, sideward and although hard to admit, sometimes blown forward. While riding most of the way, the lure of the warm bus did get the better of them at times.

The scenery was great, with plenty of wildlife on and beside the road including the flight of mutton birds on Griffiths Island. The wining and dining and sharing a few stories at day's end was a highlight.

The Great Ocean Road snaked it's way past breathtaking sea-scapes finishing with a spa in Lorne, the World Rugby Final and a lively night to remember.
