All Trails Past Rides

Tour Down Under - Adelaide 2007

What a week it was!  With Jack and Robin joining us from Portland Oregon, for the 4th year running.  They love it.  The Tour Down Under continued to evolve, with the teams presentation at the Superdome, track racing with the stars, including Anna & Kerrie Mears before the final race, with Ryan Bayley pipping Robbie McEwen in a battle of the sprinters.

Our cyclists rode each day, covering the coast, suburbs, Lofty Ranges and the Breakaway Challenge Tour, riding the route with 2000 other cyclists before the race.

We saw the pros from many angles, sometimes at the start, the sprint section, feed station, the finish and also in the Hilton foyer for photos and autographs.  “I can’t believe how close we got to the riders and that I have Simon Gerrans autographed drink bottle.”  A typical comment from one of our cyclists.

The racing was fast and furious, with Gerrans working for his team mate Elmiger, to take the overall points. 

Our riders took pole position in the grandstand on Sunday and watched McEwen win the last stage, in a thrilling finish.

See you next year on the All Trails package to the mighty TDU in Adelaide.  A truly deluxe package with no expense spared… the 10th anniversary of the TDU.
