The Vic High Country Rail Trails Tour is an 8-day fully supported guided cycling tour through Victoria's spectacular High Country, running 24–31 October 2026. Covering 447km across three of Victoria's best rail trails, this small group tour suits mixed-ability cyclists looking for relaxed, mostly traffic-free riding through stunning scenery and welcoming regional towns.
SPECIAL UPDATE:
The recent summer bushfires have affected some sections of the High Country and Great Vic Rail Trails. While a number of bridges have been burned and lost, only 2 are ‘essential’ bridges (most of the bridges were for viewing purposes rather than cycling on), and most parts of the trails are still open, with the fire-affected sections still being assessed. In support of the local communities we have not cancelled this tour. Instead we have created a ‘Plan B’ for the sections that are currently closed, although indications are that by October, most or all of the trails will be open for cycling. We can assure our customers that this will be a wonderful tour with all the highlights and fun that our rail trail tours are known for - with an added element of good vibes for the support that the tour is providing to communities in need.
