Join AllTrails on our legendary annual European Expedition in 2026

Our next European adventure travels right across the wonderful country of Italy. Think picture-postcard Tuscan Villas on a hill-top with vineyards stretching out below, the cobbled streets of the ‘old-town’, long golden sunsets and warm summer evenings to enjoy that spectacularly simple but undeniably tasty Italian cuisine.

The tour begins in the Prosecco region brimming with lush vineyards, rolling hills, river valleys and medieval towns, then begins to cross the country via Emilia-Romagna - a region producing some of Italy’s most famous foods including Parmigiano Reggiano, prosciutto di Parma, balsamic vinegar from Modena. From here we move into Tuscany including a rest day in Florence, a visit to the leaning tower in Pisa and finishing in the stunning town of Lucca. Flying in to Venice and departing from either Florence or Rome, you have excellent opportunities to extend your trip at either end.

Daily distances are kept at a reasonable 40-60 km/day so there is plenty of time to soak up the atmosphere of the villages and pause for as many moments as you need to take in the awesome landscapes.

All of this with that renowned AllTrails camaraderie and the confidence that comes with booking your European adventure with an Australian-based tour company.
